Off the Beat Art by Sarah Ashley Longshore

As I've been researching different art to decorate my dorm with for next year, I've found some really interesting pieces of art that I thought would be interesting to share with you all. I stumbled upon Sarah Ashley Longshore's website and I have fell absolutely in love with every single painting of hers.

While C and I are art historians in the making and thoroughly enjoy the classics, this off the beat art is magical! Don't you agree?

    I am an Art History Minor but focused on mainly medieval and European art. These aren't my cup of tea, but I'm not much of a Modern or Contemporary Art fan. Send me some Degas or Church architecture, please!

    Her work is very compelling, but i think it would still be that without all the vulgarity. Kind of like, "If you have to explain the joke, it's not that good a joke."
