Last weekend, A and I both saw Magic Mike. We know many of you have too, so let us know what you thought!

C's Thoughts:

This is definitely not a movie with substance. This is the type of mindless movie you go and see with some girlfriends. The movie has one thing going for it: the gorgeous lead actors. They are clearly the draw to the movie. I wish that there would have been more love involved with the movie. I'm glad I saw it-a fun mindless escape, with funny moments (and hot actors!)

Like C said, Magic Mike is not a movie you want to see if you're looking for a deep and meaningful plot, conflict, solution, ect. Lets be honest- the reason why you go to see it is because of the men. To me, this movie felt very much like a night out with my friends. 'Ooh'ing and 'aah'ing throughout the movie was a common occurrence and was, in fact, encouraged. There were moments of laughter here and there. There is even a mini love plot thrown in there. And seriously...Channing Tatum has some major stripper skills. Trust me. Go see it.

Movies to See: 21 Jump Street

Finally! One of the first good movies I've (A) seen in a while. 21 Jump Street was HILARIOUS!

Basically Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are the perfect comedy duo. Channing Tatum really doesn't need an intro, but Jonah Hill is sooo cute too. They play two guys who went to the same high school, but weren't friends at the time. Of course, their characters get the stereotypical high school roles...but seven years later, they end up being police partners. Hilarity ensues. Then they are asked to be a part of an undercover mission to bust a high school drug circle. You will laugh so hard. 

For those of you who don't know, this movie is actually rated R, and for good reason. Lots of cursing, lots of sexual innuendos, and a great deal of general inappropriateness.

Did I mention there's an appearance by Johnny Depp? And Dave Franco has a large part in the movie?

Everyone go see it!!
