#ThingsALoves

1. Essie's 'E-nuf is e-nuf' has been on my nails for the past week or so! This 'subdued creamy coral' is simply lovely.
2. Kate Spade bangles. So delicate and cute. The perfect addition to any outfit. I have the mint colored one that says 'Mint Condition' on the inside. There is a special meaning behind this one- more on that to come!
3. My signet ring that I got for graduation from my parents is something I've been wearing every day. Very special to me for obvious reasons.
4. Pellegrino. I drink this all day, every day. At every meal. The best.
5. Kate Spade advertising. Absolutely adorable and so catchy! Pure brilliance.
6. Cherries! I've been eating these all summer. They're the perfect yummy snack.
7. I got this Dior mascara about a month ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. The brush, the consistency, and the scent (yes, it's scented!) are all perfect. My new favorite.

What are you loving lately?

Change is Good

So this is a bit of a personal post. Less than 12 hours ago I (A) finished my last high school assignment EVER. I can't even put my feelings into words right now. Its surreal. It feels like just a few months ago I was "moving up" from middle school and starting high school as a tiny little freshman.

So much change is happening in my life right now. I'm graduating from high school in under a month. I'm going to be going away to school next year. But before all that, I'm starting my first official job today!

At my school, all of the seniors get internships at different businesses for the last month of school. I'm interning at a non profit organization in New York City and I could not be more excited! I'm looking forward to doing great work for a great cause. And while I'm sad to be done with classes, I feel like this internship is going to be a wonderful experience for me.

So here's to change and wonderful new opportunities. And naturally, I had to share my outfit with you all!

A's Summer Go To Looks

Grace- Great suggestion!! Love it. FYI- Any of our followers who have any suggestions for posts, don't hesitate to let us know. Seriously though, we love hearing from you.

Look 1: I'm not going to lie, this is undoubtedly my favorite look of the three. I'm all about looking chic on the beach. I'm also 100% terrified of the sun, so naturally I had to include a big floppy hat for this look. And don't forget the sunnies! And the tunic!

Look 2: I'm a big supporter of the nautical look. Throw on some cute white jeans, navy and white stripes, and some cute espadrilles and you're ready to go for basically any occasion. Whether its a meal at the club or a casual day at work, this look is so versatile. Please note- These Jack Rogers espadrilles add a whole other level of cuteness with the metallic color!

Look 3: I'm such a foodie. Any allocation of time that allows me to stay out late dining with friends is a love of mine (that's like...what the summer is all about). I'm also a big supporter of wearing as much white as possible during the warmer months because HELLO- it makes you look tanner than you are! This is my go to dinner outfit. White Lilly dress and turquoise Jack Rogers sandals. Done and done.

A's April Favorites

How does time fly so quickly?! Crazy. So much to share with you this month!

I've been using this yummy smelling conditioner all month and I love it!! So refreshing and my hair has been smoother and shinier!

I am legitimately obsessed with Humans of New York. Its basically a page of photographs of people in New York taken by a photographer who goes around the city taking pictures. The moments he catches are amazing. Check out if there's a 'Humans of (insert your city here)'. I promise it won't be easy to pry yourself away from this site!

Every morning and every night (and sometimes even during the middle of the day). I've been loving my new love for tea.

Vera Bradley headbands. Cute, fun, and easy. Sometimes I even find myself planning my outfits around these headbands.

I go through phases where I really use Pandora and ones where I don't really. I definitely made use of Pandora this month. Whether I'm doing homework, working out, or just laying around, I've been loving just turning to Pandora and listening to music for whatever mood I'm in. My favorites are the 'John Mayer' Station and the 'Dave Matthews Band' Station.

A's March Favorites

One month closer to graduation...kinda freaking me out. Anyways, March was a great month and I don't know about you all, but I definitely experienced the "madness".

This month I've been loving...

During this awkward weather transition mixed with a little rain, my Barbour has come in handy all month! I love it.

This is the St Christopher's pendant (worn to ensure safe travels) I got from my aunt for my birthday. I literally wore it every single day this month and I'm obsessed with the color.

I'm currently wearing Essie's 'Haute as Hello' and I'm in love!! Its the perfect shade of coral for spring and I know this sounds weird but it actually makes you look tan! Its from the Summer 2010 collection, so its not actually available on Essie's website, but it may still be available in your local nail salon. Its available here

Lana Del Rey's album 'Born to Die' has been on repeat on my iPod all month! She may not be for everyone, but I'm obsessed with her sultry and haunting (in the best way possible) voice. I'm also a huge fan of her pin-up girl look!
Each morning, I fill my two Siggs (Keith Haring design, naturally) with lemon water and try to drink both bottles throughout the day. The lemony zest to the water has really made it easier for me to drink both bottles, not to mention that the lemon is so healthy! I've even observed less break outs on my face this month as a result of drinking the lemon water. You should try it!

Signature "Face": A's Edition

To be completely honest, I typically don't wear a full face of make up to school. When it comes choosing between an extra 10 minutes of sleep and apply the works onto my face, I usually go with sleep. Despite that, I usually have enough time in the morning to put cover up on if necessary and mascara. But when I do put on a full face of make up, these are my favorite products...

I admittedly discovered this primer/foundation duo when I was rummaging through my mother's makeup bag and I have not turned back since. I swear by this stuff. So lightweight and so natural looking.

Great concealer and is very moisturizing. Little pick me up when you're running on little sleep and those heinous little bags start forming under your eyes or when you see a breakout surfacing.

The primer and eyeshadow duo is perfection and literally stays on for over 24 hours. Don't ask how I know that...lolz. Unfortunately they don't make my favorite shade (Pearl N 08), but I also really like "So Elegant N 51" and "Dying for Fudge N 60".

I use this combination of Covergirl's Lash Blast Fusion and Estee Lauder's Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara for my eyelashes. The combination is some weird level of perfection that cannot be explained. Just try it.

The best eyeliner I've tried in a while. Better than all the pricier ones and only like $8!

I totally agree with C on this one...Orgasm is the best blush! A classic.

Chanel's Levres Scintillantes Glossimer is the most amazing pinky-nude shade of gloss. So subtle and natural looking but adds so much to your look.

Hope you all enjoyed this! Let me know if you have had the same experiences with these products or want to suggest any products for C and I!

A's February Favorites

These are a few of my favorite things...for the month of February!

So I got these for Christmas, but didn't actually start using them until this month and I just can't stop! I know this sounds a bit like a hyperbole, but these headphones make listening to music a whole other experience; the quality is amazing (just wait until you hear the bass through these babies).
I was a little daring this month and decided to try wearing some red lipstick. I am admittedly a huge follower of the beauty gurus on Youtube, so when I heard so many great reviews about this lipstick, I went out to buy it immediately. If you're looking to try a red lipstick, I highly recommend Chanel Rouge Coco in Gabrielle! I'm actually wearing it right now!
I'm embarrassed to say it, but in the past, I had the tendency not to eat breakfast (sooo bad, I know). I'm definitely not a morning person, but this month I've been extra diligent to eat healthily and these bars have been my go to. Despite creating mass amounts of crumbs, these bars are the perfect (healthy) grab and go breakfast.
Enjoy the fabulous quality picture I took from my blackberry on the left. #sarcasm
I don't like to play favorites with my favorites, but I think that these may be my most beloved item from this month. Although I've only had them for a week, they're amazing and I am legitimately obsessed with them. Sometimes I just look at them and hold them and touch them. That is all.
Ok so this may seem totally crazy, but this stuff is amazing. No, I don't drink it or cook with it...I put it in my hair! As someone who struggles with dandruff (gross, I know) with changes in the weather, my dandruff shampoo just wasn't doing enough and I started putting distilled white vinegar in my hair. I massage my scalp with it and I no longer have any dandruff! An added plus is that my hair is now incredibly shiny and soft. This stuff is totally safe for your hair, so you guys should give it a try!
I've had this Sigg for a while, but I've used it often this month and I love it! As someone who absolutely loves art, naturally I had to get the Keith Haring Sigg. To keep up with my healthy goals, I've been taking this to school every day and drinking water throughout the day; I refill it about 3 or 4 times and I feel so much healthier and lighter!

If anyone has any faves in common or decides to try any of my faves (especially the white vinegar makeshift hair product) let me know!

A's Winter Beauty Essentials

Don't you all hate the dry, rough, and chapped lips/skin that comes with the temperatures of the winter months? Here are a few of our favorite beauty essentials to survive the winter with feeling smooth and hydrated.

My lip saver: Nivea Lip Care Essentials Kit. I got this adorable little set in my stocking for Christmas and I've been hooked ever since. Inside are "A Touch of Smoothness", which hydrates,  "A Kiss of Shimmer", which creates a radiant looking lip,  and "A Kiss of Milk & Honey", which soothes. All three products work together to create healthy looking and feeling lips. Also- all three have an SPF of 10!

My hair saver: Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo. During the winter, my scalp tends to get incredibly dry when I wash my hair every day (or sometimes every other day). At the same time, if I keep my hair down for an entire day, by the end of the day it feels greasy and I feel like I need to wash it. Its kind of like a vicious cycle and this product provides the perfect balance for me. I sprinkle this product near the roots of my hair, let it sit for 3-5 minutes, and then rub it into the rest of my hair with my fingertips to do away with any gray residue (it looks like baby powder so it leaves a bit of a gray tint). Love this product!

My skin saver: Olay Total Effects Daily Moisturizer. So I admit, my discovery of this amazing moisturizer happened after randomly finding a free sample in my house. I decided to try and see what would happen if I put it on a pimple before I went to bed and when I woke up, the pimple was gone! Then, I applied it to my whole face before bed the next night and I woke up to perfectly radiant and hydrated skin. Also- it doesn't hurt to start using anti-aging products now...hah! (Did I mention that I am terrified of wrinkles?!)

Has anyone else had similar experiences with these products? Care to share some of your favorite winter skin remedies?
