Care for a Mocktail?

While we're not of age to drink alcoholic beverages, who said we can't enjoy a yummy summer drink? We love a good mocktail. Mock+cocktail=mocktail...get it?

Summer Sunset

This is a twist on the tequila sunrise. Pour a splash of grenadine over ice. Shake together equal parts lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7Up) and orange juice. Add the mixture into a cute glass and garnish with a slice of orange on the rim.

Cherry Smash
Cherry flavored seltzer, lime juice, and a few teaspoons of sugar are the main components to this drink. Add some pitted cherries and mint leaves for garnish and you're good to go!

Rosemary Infused Cucumber Lemonade
Water, lemon juice, and a few tablespoons of agave syrup combine to make a delicious mix. Add a few slices of cucumber to the mix and along the rim of your class. Add some fresh rosemary for garnish.

Virgin Garden Fresh Bloody Mary
This one requires some preparation: Puree tomatoes in a blender with lemon juice, jalapenos, horseradish to taste, Worcestershire, sugar, celery salt and pepper, scraping down the sides as necessary. Refrigerate until chilled for about 2 hours.
Spear caperberries or olives and dilly beans on toothpicks to garnish.

Enjoy!!

  2. Oooh, love this! Though I've just turned 21, I haven't been drinking too much. These are a nice compromise!
