1. The white J.Crew jorts. I picked these up on a super sale (read $19.99) and wasn't sure I would even wear them much. Yeah, it was a total impulse purchase because I couldn't resist the price. I've been wearing them constantly. They offer more flexibility with the length and they're so comfy!

2. The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral. Ok it's a little pricy at $22.50, but I am so glad that I own one. It's not something I'd buy many of because of the price, but man does it last forever and soften my lips! It is wonderful, and it gives a great color.

3. Benefit Watts Up. This was another impulse buy at the beginning of the summer and I wear it when  I want to only wear that (read: every single day.) It's super easy to apply and literally makes you glow! I wear it on my upper cheek bones and at my brown bone.

4. The Kate Spade New York Gold Coast Ginnie. This was a summer treat after working many long hours. I am so glad that I treated myself to this beauty that I'll use for years to come!

5. lululemon athletica Swiftly headband. This was something I bought because I'm a headband addict and I love the lululemon ones! It's scalloped and so cute, and I think it stays in much longer than the plain slipless headband!

6. Watermelon. This has been a total obsession lately. I think we eat like 4 watermelons a week in my family (no exaggeration, they are that good this year!)

7. Essie Penny Talk. This polish has been getting mixed reviews, but I loved it! I didn't think it was streaky at all and I also thought it was an amazing rose gold!

1. Essie's 'E-nuf is e-nuf' has been on my nails for the past week or so! This 'subdued creamy coral' is simply lovely. 

2. Kate Spade bangles. So delicate and cute. The perfect addition to any outfit. I have the mint colored one that says 'Mint Condition' on the inside. There is a special meaning behind this one- more on that to come!

3. My signet ring that I got for graduation from my parents is something I've been wearing every day. Very special to me for obvious reasons. 

4. Pellegrino. I drink this all day, every day. At every meal. The best. 

5. Kate Spade advertising. Absolutely adorable and so catchy! Pure brilliance. 

6. Cherries! I've been eating these all summer. They're the perfect yummy snack. 

7. I got this Dior mascara about a month ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. The brush, the consistency, and the scent (yes, it's scented!) are all perfect. My new favorite.

Nail Polish Favorites: Summer 2012 (C)

This color is basically the bomb. I've been wearing it a ton this summer and have received a million compliments every single time. It even made it into my June favorites.

Essie Splash of Grenadine is a staple. I love love love it. It's such a great summery pink that many of you have had!

Essie Lapis of Luxury via

This is a color I've had since it came out (2010) and I have loved it since. It was one of the first colors I actually bought myself, and not borrowed or used at a nail salon!

This is another super popular and fabulous color from last year. I love the coraly peachy perfection of this one!

Yet another cult favorite. I love this one and it actually took me forever to hunt down. I never had luck finding it!

C's June Favorites

Where oh where has this month gone?! Obviously my favorite thing about June was just the pure summer aspect!

This Tervis water bottle has been saving my life. It keeps things insulated and doesn't sweat. It's great for the 90 degree heat I've felt lately!

I picked this up on a whim at Sephora a couple of weeks ago and I've been hooked. It's so neutral and can be worn day or night. It's Smashbox Pop!

A's June Favorites

We haven't done one of these in a while, but here are our favorites for the month of June! A is up first.

Revlon's Iced Amethyst

 After wearing this for prom, I fell absolutely in love with this lipstick! The color is perfect, it stays on for a while, it keeps my lips moisturized, and it didn't do damage to my bank account! I highly recommend this shade and any other Revlon lipsticks as well. 

L'Occitane Hand Indulgences

I have been obsessed with this L'Occitane hand cream set! The scents are so yummy and the cremes are amazingly moisturizing. This is a great set to invest in if you want to try a few different types of L'Occitane products that tend to be a bit more expensive on their own.

Black Blouse via H&M

My inner New Yorker came out and I couldn't resist purchasing this great black blouse. I had seen so many blouses similar to this one, but for much much more money, so I knew I had to make the purchase. Since then, I've been wearing this shirt almost every week. It's so versatile and can be paired with so many different bottoms. Such a great investment!

I have so much love for this darling little Vineyard Vines koozie!! Tis the season for bbqs and outdoor parties which means I've been getting a ton of use out of this baby. Did I mention that I got this as a free gift from VV? Thanks Shep and Ian!

Yes, I know that putting guacamole on my June favorites is sort of weird...but I can't help but love it! I am a sucker for anything avocado. I even put avocado in my hair...Yes, it works! Here is my favorite avocado recipe!

A's March Favorites

One month closer to graduation...kinda freaking me out. Anyways, March was a great month and I don't know about you all, but I definitely experienced the "madness". 


This month I've been loving...

During this awkward weather transition mixed with a little rain, my Barbour has come in handy all month! I love it. 

This is the St Christopher's pendant (worn to ensure safe travels) I got from my aunt for my birthday. I literally wore it every single day this month and I'm obsessed with the color. 

I'm currently wearing Essie's 'Haute as Hello' and I'm in love!! Its the perfect shade of coral for spring and I know this sounds weird but it actually makes you look tan! Its from the Summer 2010 collection, so its not actually available on Essie's website, but it may still be available in your local nail salon. Its available here. 

Lana Del Rey's album 'Born to Die' has been on repeat on my iPod all month! She may not be for everyone, but I'm obsessed with her sultry and haunting (in the best way possible) voice. I'm also a huge fan of her pin-up girl look! 

Each morning, I fill my two Siggs (Keith Haring design, naturally) with lemon water and try to drink both bottles throughout the day. The lemony zest to the water has really made it easier for me to drink both bottles, not to mention that the lemon is so healthy! I've even observed less break outs on my face this month as a result of drinking the lemon water. You should try it!

I can't believe another month has gone by! We're already 1/4 through 2012! Here are my faves this month!

Starbucks Tazo Passion Tea via

So I only really drink water, and I drink a lot of hot tea in the winter! I love some of the ones featured in this post here, but I like more fruity for spring and summer. This is my new favorite! I've literally been drinking this unsweetened all month. Tea drinkers, it's the same tea that is in their passion iced tea lemonade.

I've had the original Naked palette since summer. I got this one for my birthday, and I love it. It's all I have been wearing since I got it. It's actually still different from the first Naked!

I received these for my birthday at the end of February, and I love them so much! I've been wearing them with everything, from chino shorts to jeans. They are such great loafers that I'll wear for years to come!

I've been making these 24/7 on this new app. I can honestly say that I change my background everyday, to a new monogram, of course! It's well worth the $1.99

I am a total list maker. I always have a notebook of lists going. I recently finished off my old notebook, a pretty generic one from Target. I decided to switch it up to something more fun! The cover is super heavy, and I am a total convert to these mini notebooks!

Grab a Cup

Its early in the morning and you have just woken up from a sleep which was a few hours short of the recommended time frame.  Almost naturally, you inevitably victim to the immense benefits of coffee. Don't worry you're not alone. We have both sought our early morning caffeine fixes in coffee (if only it was acceptable to drink Diet Coke in the AM...). In accordance with our New Year's resolution to be healthier, we've been trying to kick our coffee addictions and seek refuge in yummy (and healthy) teas. Here are some of our faves.

A's February Favorites

These are a few of my favorite things...for the month of February!

So I got these for Christmas, but didn't actually start using them until this month and I just can't stop! I know this sounds a bit like a hyperbole, but these headphones make listening to music a whole other experience; the quality is amazing (just wait until you hear the bass through these babies).

I was a little daring this month and decided to try wearing some red lipstick. I am admittedly a huge follower of the beauty gurus on Youtube, so when I heard so many great reviews about this lipstick, I went out to buy it immediately. If you're looking to try a red lipstick, I highly recommend Chanel Rouge Coco in Gabrielle! I'm actually wearing it right now!

I'm embarrassed to say it, but in the past, I had the tendency not to eat breakfast (sooo bad, I know). I'm definitely not a morning person, but this month I've been extra diligent to eat healthily and these bars have been my go to. Despite creating mass amounts of crumbs, these bars are the perfect (healthy) grab and go breakfast.

I don't like to play favorites with my favorites, but I think that these may be my most beloved item from this month. Although I've only had them for a week, they're amazing and I am legitimately obsessed with them. Sometimes I just look at them and hold them and touch them. That is all.

Ok so this may seem totally crazy, but this stuff is amazing. No, I don't drink it or cook with it...I put it in my hair! As someone who struggles with dandruff (gross, I know) with changes in the weather, my dandruff shampoo just wasn't doing enough and I started putting distilled white vinegar in my hair. I massage my scalp with it and I no longer have any dandruff! An added plus is that my hair is now incredibly shiny and soft. This stuff is totally safe for your hair, so you guys should give it a try!

I've had this Sigg for a while, but I've used it often this month and I love it! As someone who absolutely loves art, naturally I had to get the Keith Haring Sigg. To keep up with my healthy goals, I've been taking this to school every day and drinking water throughout the day; I refill it about 3 or 4 times and I feel so much healthier and lighter!

What a fun spring color. Essie's Navigate Her is brand new for spring, and I've been loving it so far! I'm definitely going to be wearing this all spring, and it's been cheering me up!

After I saw this in A's skin savers here, I had to try it. Needless to say, I've been through a tube this month. I have a tube in my car, nightstand, and purse. It's totally saved me!!

I picked these up on a whim, and I am officially a convert! They've been holding my thick hair well, and they are so cute too!

Lastly, I picked up this Murfee scarf on clearance at my local via shop earlier in the month. It's my first Murfee, and I adore it! I'm looking forward to wearing it more this spring!!

And a random bonus for good measure. I don't chew gum that often, and when I do it's while driving or studying. (I totally believe that whole chewing gum makes you remember better concept.) This is my new favorite!
